Fairhope Alabama Wedding | Hannah and Samuel
A chef and an archeologist fall in love in the deep south.
Hailing from Louisiana and Alabama, Hannah and Sam not only share roots in the region but mutual affections for many of the things that make the area so welcoming. Family bonds, bays off the gulf, savory foods, colorful history, moss swaying romantically in tall trees. . .the list goes on. Naturally when it came time to plan their wedding it made perfect sense to bring friends and family together to celebrate in the grooms hometown of Fairhope. Sharing a backyard with the lapping waves of Mobile Bay, Samuels family home served as a peaceful and well loved host for wedding preparations. Just down the road at Chapel Farm, fields of perfectly placed pecan trees share their expanse with a charming barn ever so fitting for a wedding ceremony and reception.
The grooms mother Lorna aided the couple with her refined taste and event experience, taking extra care to stay true to reflecting the bride and groom’s energy through the details. As a chef, Hannah knew that the dinner experience would be important to her. They opted for a family style meal set upon crisp white linens with pops of black found in the flatware and floral vessels. Rows of bright blooms by Wildflowers Fairhope danced happily between rows of dinner settings and unique botanical menus.
Aesthetic elements aside, what was even more beautiful to see was the warmth shared between Hannah and Sam along with their loved ones. They smiled so abundantly their cheeks surely hurt, and hugged all their people so tight they might bust, cried countless happy tears - all day long. The happiness and enjoyment guests felt was so boldly clear, its own energy buzzing over the joyous couple. Capped off by an explosive confetti send off, I’d say this wedding day was a grand success. Congratulations Hannah + Samuel!
