Annapolis Engagement | Kendall & Will

When I ask couples to use adjectives to describe their relationship, it is always a wonderful thing when I hear the word "playful" leave their lips. Even better when it's the first thing they say. Kendall and Will shared this description with me and after meeting them I knew they had hit the nail on the head! This beautiful pair seems to have a youthful kind of love. I'm not speaking to the topic of time, but in reference that magic zone where the simplest things are fun - before the cynicism of age cuts in and dilutes joy. As we walked around downtown Annapolis, the grey day was lit up by Kendall and Will's shared excitement.  The bride grew up in this historic town, and her groom fits right in by her side. Our shoes clicked on centuries old bricks as we passed rows of colorful homes, and I happily snapped away as the two shared glances and bear hugs. Our final downtown stop was at the literal edge of town at boat docks on the Chesapeake Bay. Weather had taken a downturn which meant wind whipped every strand of hair and wildly rippled Kendall's Madewell dress, but the high spirits never dwindled. I'm not kidding, these two just enjoy being together. We also spent some time at the bride's home, playing on the shores of the Severn River. It seemed only fitting for them to pull up the crab trap and have a crustacean dance. No surprise here, I am so excited to capture Kendall & Will when they marry next summer!
